Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for purchasing our products from us – J E MODY & SONS (“J E MODY”) at“website” or “Site” or “J E MODY & SONS” or “we” or “us” or “online store”)

At J E MODY, our primary goal is to provide our users with the highest quality products and to provide an impeccable and delightful experience each time they order from us. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the purchase, we invite you to review our policy on Replacements, Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds.

The following terms and conditions are applicable for all products that you purchase online from us through our Site:


If the product received by you is faulty and this fault is attributable to a manufacturing defect OR where the product is pilfered or is damaged during transit or is tampered before delivery or is otherwise short-delivered, OR where you have received an incorrect product that was not ordered and/or you have not received the product so ordered, you shall be entitled to initiate a “Request for Replacement” with within 2 days of having received such a product, together with images and pictures thereof that establish the defect / damage / incorrect product. Upon receipt of your said “Request for Replacement”, we shall forthwith cause our Courier Partner to collect the said product from you, within the next 2 working days, and shall thereafter replace your product as requested or may refund your purchase price if the correct product cannot be shipped to you.


In the event our reverse pickup is not available at your pin-code, we will request you to ship the product(s) through any reliable courier partner. Upon receipt of the product, we shall forthwith reimburse you the courier charges incurred by you to your wallet.

We request you to please send the product along with all the accompanying material and the original packaging along with the invoice. We also request you not to use the item for which the claim is being raised. Also, it would help if you can provide snapshots of the packets and other boxes so delivered to you.

Once we receive the product(s) from you, we will try our best to swiftly process the refunds/replacements. Please note that if the replacement product is unavailable, we will process a refund.

Acceptance/Rejection of your ‘Request for Replacement’ shall be at the sole discretion of J E Mody & Sons.

Returns & Cancellation

We are proud of the product we sell and hope that you like it as much as we do. The product cannot be returned once purchased.

Cancellations may be requested only prior to the products being shipped by writing to The status of your order can be seen at any time in the ‘My Orders’ page on the Site which shall reveal to you whether your order is being “Processed” or ‘Confirmed’ to be shipped to you.

On receipt of your “Request for Cancellation” of the Order, your Order will be cancelled and the refund process shall accordingly be initiated as listed below.


Please note that the Orders that have already been shipped, cannot be cancelled and in such cases only the Return & Refund policy clauses will be applicable.

If you are not satisfied with the product after consuming it or develop an allergic reaction, and would like to return the product, you will have to initiate the request for return and cancellation within 2 days of receipt of the said product by writing to Please note that we have an internal return and cancellation process which includes a form with reasons for return. This process is crucial to us for our quality control processes and for ensuring better services and products in the future.

Process for Returns

  • All return requests, will be honored if receiving in packed condition 

 The onus of sending the product back to us will remain with you. The returning product(s) must be shipped along with all accompanying materials and original packaging to us.

  • Once we receive the products, we will initiate your refund process.
  • Refunds will be made to your wallet for your future purchases. If you would like to encash this amount from your wallet, you may write to

Acceptance/Rejection of the replacement claim will be at the sole discretion of J E Mody & Sons.

Refunds on Cancellations/Returns

As a matter of policy, only the product cost will be refunded and NOT the Delivery / Shipping Charges, if any, as were previously collected from you.

Refunds for cancellations/returns will be initiated within 2 working days of receipt of the cancellation request or receipt of the returned items whichever is later and the amounts will be credited to your J E MODY wallet for future purchases.

You may choose to withdraw the amount from the wallet by raising a request at for transfer into your bank account. The amount, after adjustments, if any, will be refunded to either your bank account or to the original source of payment.

This process of refund to the original source of payment may take about 5-7 working days depending on your bank.

On cancellation of a subscription mid-way, the amount will be credited into your wallet with the amount paid at the time of subscription after deducting the full price of the product already supplied to you. Subscription cancellations will be effective prior to shipping of the next scheduled delivery.
